Blue cloth boards show minor rubbing to extremities. Corners bumped. Top edge gilt. Deckled fore and bottom edges. Tissue protected frontispiece. Light foxing/stains on a few pages. Sound binding; clean pages. Margaret Armstrong's initials are in bottom right-hand corner of her gilt cover design. She was influenced by Art Nouveau, designing over 300 easily recognizable covers.
