Corporate Social Responsibility

Over 320 million books are discarded in landfills every year. Every book I sell is sourced locally, often from estates and from those who are downsizing, books that could potentially be thrown away. If you browse my collections, you will see that most of my books are in less than perfect condition. Books that are not in readable condition are repurposed. I am starting a new line of book gifts made from old books, including: bookmarks, shell catchalls, and wall art. I also reuse packaging and shipping materials. All of my boxes are recycled, as well as most of my bubble wrap and packaging materials. Some of the decorations I use on my packaging are also recycled. Finally, to save trips to the post office, I often have my postal carrier pick up my packages.
