Undated editions published prior to 1900, as the The New York imprint of ‘Peter Fenelon Collier, Publisher’ was used until about 1900. Green cloth boards, gilt detail on spines. Light rubbing to extremities; minor scuffs and stains to covers. Slightly shelf-cocked. Copious black and white illustrations. Light toning. Smudges on endpapers. Bindings are sound and pages are crisp and clean unless noted. Vol II: small dent on rear cover fore edge. Vol III: title page has small tear along gutter.
