1879 School Book Appleton's School Reader Fifth Reader Yearbook Inscriptions

Heavy wear to covers consistent with age and use by school aged children in the late 1800s. The unique feature of this book is it was used as a yearbook of sorts for a girl named Katie. There are 10 pages of inscriptions from her classmates, who all went to school together in South Chatham, on Cape Cod. Marginalia, toning, foxing, creases present. Binding is loose but intact. Pages all readable.
