First edition published in 1974 by Walker & Company, New York. Original dust jacket has some tears on the front and rear; a small merchandise sticker is also on the rear jacket. Sloane's signature in black on front cover and title in black on spine. Some discoloration to white cover boards. Sound binding, clean pages.

A talented pen-and-ink artist, Sloane kept these sketches hidden away in an old portfolio in his attic. Years later, they finally appeared in this volume, along with autobiographical commentary. A beautiful book for the shelf, bedside or coffee table.
